From the moment you walk in, we
want you to feel at home!
WELCOME! We love seeing new patients and
we’re excited to talk about your
family’s orthodontic care. We understand the
importance of choosing an office that truly cares
about the quality of service it provides.
That’s why we go to great lengths to make
sure that your experience with us is a pleasant
one. Though we take our work very seriously, we
pride ourselves on doing it in a fun way. We want
you to enjoy coming to see us and to feel
comfortable with the treatment you receive. We are
always available to answer your questions and keep
you updated on treatment progress.
WHAT OCCURS AT YOUR COMPLIMENTARY FIRST
VISIT?
Get ready for an exciting adventure in the world
of orthodontics! From the time you arrive at Dr.
Logan’s office for this hour-long
appointment, you will realize that CARING is the
key word for the day. At our office we pride
ourselves on educating our patients each step of
the way, and you will leave our office with a full
understanding of the amazing possibilities
available in this field of dentistry. First, Dr.
Logan talks with the patient and parent to find
out what the patient feels the problem is and what
their treatment goals are. Then Dr. Logan examines
the patient’s mouth and makes various
diagnostic observations and measurements. From
this, he determines treatment perspectives. Dr.
Logan then discusses his treatment goals with the
patient. The initial visit determines if there is
an orthodontic problem, afterwards the patient may
be told that treatment is not necessary and should
be postponed. If treatment is advisable then we
make a mold of the teeth. An appointment is then
scheduled at a specialized orthodontic x-ray
laboratory for state-of-the-art orthodontic x-rays
and photographs. After records are interpreted Dr.
Logan will then discuss with the patient and the
family/ or adults, his findings and recommended
treatment.
FEES
As well as the quality of care patients
receive in our office this will also be discussed
prior to initiating any treatment, thus, making
the most of the valuable time you have set aside
from your busy schedule to meet with us. Dr. Logan
has set aside one hour for your exam with NO
FEE for this initial consultation. So that we may
continue offering this as a COURTESY visit, please
contact the office at least 24 hours in advance
should you need to reschedule. Although treatments
can vary from several months to several years, the
total cost will be explained before treatment
begins. We offer competitive fees, different
payment options (including a no-interest, monthly
payment plan) designed to suit different budgets.
Cost of treatment is based on the severity of the
patient’s problem. If you determine that
this is the quality of treatment that you want for
you or your child, a payment plan can be developed
to fit your personal budget.
PAYMENT OPTION
In an effort to keep orthodontic fees
down while maintaining the highest level of
professional care, we have established this
financial policy:
- If payment is made in full at the onset of
treatment, we offer a fee discount
- If you have insurance, we will offer a
discount for payment of YOUR portion of the
fee that will not be covered by insurance, if paid
in one payment.
- For your convenience, we accept payment by
VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and
Care Credit.
- We offer monthly no-interest payments
suited to your budget.
- We also offer a no down payment option.
INSURANCE
Insurance coverage will be confirmed upon
arrival at the office to help you determine
available benefits. Assignment of benefits to us
is available in most instances, and we will bill
your company as a courtesy to you. We will help in
every way we can in filing your claim and handling
insurance questions from our office on your
behalf.
TREATMENT
Now that all of the diagnostic work has been
done and a payment plan has been selected,
treatment can begin. You will become a member of
the HOME OF CHAMPIONSHIP SMILES! We welcome you to
our team, and we want you to know that we are here
to answer your questions and assist you. We want
you to feel comfortable in the knowledge that you
are receiving the best possible treatment.
APPOINTMENTS
The appointment when you get your initial
appliances (braces, expanders, etc.) usually takes
60 to 90 minutes. You will then see us at regular
intervals 3 to 10 weeks apart for adjustments
(which takes 20 to 90 minutes). We schedule longer
appointments in the morning and shorter
appointments after school. By doing this, we do
not reserve an entire afternoon for one or two
patients but rather accommodate as many families
as possible for after-school appointments. We make
every effort to be on time for our patients and
ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. If
you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us
immediately. It can be difficult to reschedule
since appointments are made weeks in advance. |
